Our New Favorite Places in Beverly Hills for Our Favorite Time of Day—Lunch!

You can really work up an appetite representing food and beverage clients. Thankfully, Crier’s Beverly Hills office is situated near some really fabulous restaurants. A few we’ve only just recently discovered and added to our lunch rotation. Here are three of our new favorite spots for a quick and delightful lunch in Beverly Hills:

L’Amande French Bakery

Full disclosure, we just started working with L’Amande here at Crier, but we have to include on this list of our new favorites based on merit alone. Stepping into the new Beverly Hills location feels like a being instantly transported into a bustling bakery in Paris. The menu features traditional French dishes executed perfectly. Everything is made from scratch in-house—from the flawless croissants to the amazing baguettes, even the jams and creams. Some of our favorite items for lunch include the Parisan Salad with mixed greens, walnuts, dried cranberries, blue cheese, caramelized apples and balsamic vinaigrette and the Croque Madame, Black Forest ham, gruyere cheese, on pain de mie and topped with a sunny side up egg. Plus for a pick-me-up at the end of the meal, L’Amande coffee is magnifique!

Comoncy

I won Comoncy’s business card drawing of the week when they first opened, so eating there always makes me feel lucky. Comoncy has great salads—both the Kale Salad and the Bedford Salad are excellent and crisp. Their sandwiches are also remarkable and range from the simple Caprese to the Chicken Panini with provolone, avocado, scallion aioli and roasted tomato. And Comoncy’s delivery bicycles are just plain adorable.

Paninoteca by Scarpetta

We’ve been making a Crier pilgrimage almost weekly to Paninoteca ever since first trying their Italian sandwiches for lunch. An intense debate has arisen over which is the favorite between the Roast Beef Sandwich (house-made roast beef, arugula, pickled red onions and parmigiano) and the Padrino Hero (prosciutto, mortadella, salami, provolone & Italian vinaigrette) but both are absolutely delicious. Plus each sandwich comes with house-made potato chips. And you can take your sandwich right outside and enjoy your lunch in the Beverly Canon Garden.
