Wirecutter’s Best Juicer, two years running

In a category owned by Breville, Omega and Vitamix, a premium price needs outside proof. So we ran the program that goes and gets it.

Scope

Agency of record for PR across the full healthy-living appliance line: Greenstar and Slowstar juicers, Sedona dehydrators, Dynablend blenders, the Sousvant sous vide and the Yolife yogurt maker.

Challenge

Tribest competes in a category dominated by Breville, Omega and Vitamix, where a premium price tag needs third-party validation to survive the comparison shop.

Buyers in this category do not take the brand’s word for performance. They read the roundups.

What we did

Crier built the program around third-party verdicts. We ran a continuous awards and review-submission operation, pitching each product into the comparative “best juicer” and “best dehydrator” franchises that shape purchase decisions.

Editors were supplied with the specific performance attributes their testing criteria rewarded: yield, RPM, oxidation, footprint, warranty.

That was paired with sustained media sampling into top-tier consumer, tech and trade press, and a blogger and influencer program of recipe-driven reviews and giveaways that produced continuous coverage between the major review cycles.

Results

563 placements and 935M+ impressions across three-plus years, with annual placements growing from 82 to 236 and annual impressions climbing from 19.5M to 484M.

Wirecutter named the Slowstar “Best Juicer” two years running, citing yield, ease of use and footprint. Engadget called it the “best and most versatile juicer for home” in its buying guide, syndicating on to secondary outlets.

Coverage that converted

Muscle & Fitness crowned the Dyna-Blend “a Beast of a Blender,” and Good Housekeeping ran a full online product review of the Dynablend.

Blogger giveaways drove engagement in the thousands of entries per activation, and following the Humio coverage push, Tribest reported 1,994 units sold.
